Barber / Stylist Program – Dayton Barber College

Future Barber, We’re Talking To You!

The Barber/Stylist Program is ideal for students with no prior barbering experience or training who are seeking a career as a licensed barber/stylist, barbershop owner or manager in the state of Ohio. We combine classroom theory, scientific barbering practice, and hands-on shop training to help prepare you for licensure.

What You’ll Learn:

Teach you the art, science, and business of barbering, including hair cutting and styling using scissors, clippers, and razors, shaving, and hot towel treatments.

Help you on the path toward a barbering career, including business skills to help those interested in owning their own shop.

Build a book of business in our on-campus shop that can be taken with you to your job after graduation.
